Philbrook’s Boatyard is continuing its busy year even as the boating season winds down. The significant increase in business is due in large part to increased spending by US boaters, says Jerry Boone, the yard project manager. The longer boating season also contributed to this year’s success for Philbrooks.
According to Boone, yard business in October was up 50 percent over 2012 and November is looking to be equally busy.
